2009 Online Auction Raises over $14,000
Thank you to everyone who clicked, bid or won an item from our 2009 2nd Annual Online Auction for Relay For Life of Newtown!
We raised $14,418 by selling 129 items ranging from winning bids of $20 to $700.
With 74 bidders from biddingforgood participating in our auction from around the country. These bidders had a total of $5,675 of leading bids when the auction came to a close.
cMarket placed items raised $1,160 from winning bidders. (cMarket placed items are items donated by businesses to cMarket and then are secured by our committee free of charge for our auction)
A special thanks to our In-kind Sponsors listed to the right of this article. Their donations value totaled $9,515.
Thank you to the 70 winning bidders and the 420 interested participants who made our 2nd Annual Online Auction the success that it is today!
We are looking forward to seeing all of you click, bid and win next year when we kick off the 3rd Annual Online Auction in 2010!

The town of Newtown, CT and the American Cancer Society are proud to present the 2nd Annual Relay for Life of Newtown Online Auction.We will be accepting donated auction items now until May 13th, 2009. You can turn in your items at our monthly meetings or contact us to make arrangements to pick it up or drop it off at your convenience. The online auction will run from May 14, 2009 to June 6th, 2009, with the live event for a few select items taking place on June 13, 2009.
